- He has worked as a lawyer at Romero Izquierdo, a consultant at the United Nations (PNUD), and as a lawyer at the Graduate School of the University of Chile.
- He is a professor of Mining Law at the University of Santiago de Chile and at the Department of Economic Law at the University of Chile’s School of Law. Additionally, he serves as the coordinator of diploma programs and extension and research activities in the field of natural resources.
